General7 questions

We provide independent draw adjudication and certification. Organisations use the platform to record, complete, and generate verifiable certificates for prize draws.

We do not sell entries, operate competitions, or handle prize fulfilment.

No. We are an independent adjudication platform. While not government-operated, our processes are designed to provide structured, transparent, and verifiable documentation of draw outcomes.

A certificate serves as a formal record of the draw event and its recorded outcome.

Legal enforceability depends on the organiser's competition terms and applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

Any organisation that runs prize draws, raffles, competitions, or similar selection events can use the platform. This includes charities, businesses, clubs, online stores, and event organisers.

Participants in a draw do not need an account — they simply receive a result notification from the organiser and can verify the outcome independently using the public verification page.

The platform supports any draw where one or more winners are selected from a pool of entries. Common examples include:

  • Prize draws and giveaways
  • Charity raffles
  • Competition winner selections
  • Ballot allocations
  • Random staff selections
  • Order or ticket number draws
We certify the draw process — not the prize, the competition terms, or the fulfilment.

No. Participants never need to register or log in. Their entry data is handled by the organiser, and anyone can verify a draw result publicly without creating an account.

The organiser is responsible for managing participant data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Draw Process10 questions

Winners are selected according to the configured method at the time the draw is executed. The completion event is timestamped in UTC and immediately recorded.

The full selection event is captured in the draw's audit trail and included in the issued certificate.

No. Once a draw is completed and a certificate is issued, the recorded result cannot be altered.

Any change would invalidate the record fingerprint, making alteration immediately detectable.

A fingerprint is a unique digital summary of the draw data at the exact moment of completion.

If any detail were changed — even a single character — the fingerprint would change, making any alteration immediately detectable when verified.

Reserve winners are backup selections chosen at the same time as the primary winner. They are assigned a priority order (R1, R2, etc.) and recorded on the certificate.

If the primary winner cannot receive the prize under the organiser's rules, the prize may pass to reserves in priority order.

If no reserves were selected, the certificate will clearly state this — there is no ambiguity in the record.

Yes. When setting up a draw you specify how many primary winners to select. Each winner is individually recorded and numbered on the certificate (W1, W2, W3, etc.).

Reserve winners can also be selected for each prize position, giving full coverage of every possible outcome.

Yes. Before a draw is completed you can edit draw details, update the entry list, or adjust settings. The draw record is only locked once you confirm the final completion step and the certificate is issued.

After completion, no changes are possible — the record is sealed and fingerprinted.

Entries can be added via:

  • Manual entry — type or paste names, ticket numbers, or other identifiers directly
  • Bulk import — upload a spreadsheet or CSV file containing your entry list

All entries are stored securely and included in the certificate record. The exact format and content of entries is at the organiser's discretion.

Yes. Before running a draw, the organiser can generate a unique Live Draw Page — a shareable link that participants open to follow the draw in real time.

The page shows a live countdown before the draw begins, updates in real time as the draw executes, and displays winners the instant the result is confirmed. No account is needed for participants to view the page.

The Live Draw Page is optional. Draws can be run without it if the organiser does not need participants to follow along live.

Yes. When setting up the Live Draw Page, the organiser can paste a livestream URL to display a video feed at the top of the page.

  • YouTube — embeds as a full video player directly on the page
  • Twitch — embeds as a full video player directly on the page
  • Facebook / Instagram — cannot be embedded; a link button is shown instead so participants can open the stream on the original platform

Adding a video feed is optional — the live results page works fully without one.

Verification6 questions

Results can be verified using any of the following:

  • Certificate ID
  • Verification link
  • Record fingerprint (entries hash)

The public verification page confirms whether a certificate is valid and unaltered — no account required.

The public verification page displays non-sensitive summary data only:

  • Draw name
  • Organisation name
  • Completion timestamp (UTC)
  • Winner and reserve status
  • Entry count
  • Certificate validity state
Sensitive personal data is never exposed publicly.

In limited circumstances — such as duplicate issuance or administrative error — a certificate may be marked as revoked.

Revocation status will always be clearly visible on the public verification page.

No account is required. The public verification page is openly accessible to anyone — participants, legal representatives, regulators, or members of the public.

Simply enter a Certificate ID, verification link, or record fingerprint to check a draw's status and outcome instantly.

Yes. Every certificate has a unique, permanent verification link that organisers are encouraged to share with participants and publish alongside draw announcements.

This gives participants a direct, independent way to confirm the outcome themselves without relying solely on the organiser's communication.

Certificates remain publicly accessible for the duration of the platform's data retention period. Records are not removed after a short window — they are retained to support ongoing verification, dispute review, and audit requirements.

See our data retention policy for full details.

Organisations & Verification6 questions

A verified organisation has completed an identity and documentation review process. Verification status is displayed publicly on certificates to improve transparency and accountability.

Verification confirms that identity documentation was reviewed at the time of application.

It does not constitute regulatory approval or endorsement of a specific competition or prize.

Create an account and follow the organisation setup steps in your dashboard. You will be asked to provide basic information about your organisation, including its name, type, and contact details.

Optional identity verification can be applied for at any time from within your dashboard to obtain Verified Organisation status.

Documentation requirements depend on your organisation type. Generally, the review process may include:

  • Proof of legal entity registration (company number, charity registration, etc.)
  • Identification for the account holder or authorised representative
  • Confirmation of the organisation's primary contact details

Specific requirements are confirmed during the verification application process.

Most verification reviews are completed within a few business days of receiving all required documentation. You will be notified by email once a decision has been made.

You can continue running draws while verification is pending — your draws will be marked as unverified until the review is complete.

Yes. If you manage draws on behalf of multiple clients or run different entities, you can create and switch between separate organisation profiles within a single account.

Each organisation maintains its own separate draw history, certificates, and verification status.

Security & Data6 questions

Yes. Entry data and account information are stored using access controls and security safeguards designed to protect integrity and confidentiality throughout the draw lifecycle.

Draw records are retained for verification and audit purposes in accordance with our data retention policy. Records are kept only for as long as necessary to support verification and dispute review.

Further details are available in our Privacy documentation.

Full draw data — including the complete entry list — is accessible only to authenticated users of the organising account. The public verification page exposes only non-sensitive summary information.

Internal access to draw records by platform staff is governed by strict access controls and only occurs where necessary for operational or dispute purposes.

All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure subject to access controls, encryption at rest, and encryption in transit. Our infrastructure is maintained to industry-standard security benchmarks.

For jurisdiction-specific data residency requirements, please contact support.

Yes. The platform is designed with privacy compliance in mind and supports organisers in meeting their obligations under GDPR and equivalent data protection laws in other jurisdictions.

Organisers who upload personal data (e.g., participant names) act as the data controller for that information and are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate lawful basis for processing. Full details are available in our Data Protection documentation.

Disputes4 questions

In the event of a dispute, the following process is followed:

  1. The certificate fingerprint is checked against the original stored record
  2. The recorded timestamps and audit trail events are reviewed
  3. The public verification record is compared to the internal certificate for consistency
This ensures the outcome can be assessed objectively using recorded evidence — not recollection or interpretation.

Disputes can be raised by the organising account holder. Participants who believe a draw result may be incorrect should contact the organiser directly in the first instance.

If the organiser requests a formal review, they can initiate the dispute process through their dashboard, providing relevant details for assessment.

Most dispute reviews are completed within a few business days. The timeframe depends on the complexity of the case and the completeness of information provided at the time of submission.

You will be kept informed by email throughout the review process.

Following a review, one of the following outcomes will be issued:

  • Record confirmed — the recorded outcome is verified as accurate and unaltered
  • Administrative correction noted — a documented note is attached to the certificate where an administrative discrepancy was identified
  • Certificate revoked — in cases of proven error in issuance, the certificate is marked as revoked and a replacement may be issued
SecureDraw does not adjudicate whether a competition's rules were applied fairly — we certify the integrity of the draw record itself.
